i like national day. its like fourth of july. only in august. its a good thing its my off day. if not for cell outing i would've spent it sleeping. i also like the day after national day, which is today, the only holiday without a real name. gonna spend it sleeping too.
went to watch fireworks last night. somehow i cant appreciate it. to me its just a busload of flying sparklers. it seems like a random selection of patterns to me. cant tell what its supposed to mean or what im supposed to get from it but obviously alot of other people enjoyed it. especially the group of minahs sitting beside me.
now, the mobile column - THAT i can appreciate. didn't see much of it though. only the front few army vehicles.
army vehicles are boring. they only come in one color. its a hopeful attempt to make the enemy think "its alright guys, its just a rock that looks like a tank".
on another note, payday is in a few days time. ive come up with some things i confirm buy.

a nice birthday present for aikhong (late. but whatever. she won't know cos she's away till sept. hahaha)
a new shaver (bloody thing broke just now)

the rest of the money i will save for my wedding day.
which reminds me of the time in connectcell we talked about marriage. awkward. i have alot to say about it. it deserves a post of its own. next time luhhh. i lazy now.
